FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1) Does the Livepen work with mobile devices ONLY?
Yes! The physical Livepen works only in conjunction with Livepen software which is available only for Android and iOS.

2) Does the Livepen have a 3.5mm jack for headphones?
No.
3) Does the Livepen use the same ink cartridges as the original Echo and the newer Echo 2?
Yes, and they are available in quantity, here at SmartpenCentral.
4) Does the Livepen use the same paper products?
Yes, all Livescribe paper products available here are compatible with the Livepen.
Note that the recording controls on very old paper may not function, but handwriting is captured.
5) Does the Livepen include an integrated microphone and speaker, similar to the previous Echo?
This is TRICKY! The immediate answer is no, but Livescribe claims that a future software update will provide support for a microphone... and that's all we know!
6) When will the Echo 2 be available?
The Livescribe Livepen is available now!
