FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1) I see that the Echo 2 will work with PC (Windows and Mac) as well as mobile devices (iOS and Android). Does this mean that Echo 2 will use different software?
The new Echo 2 is used in conjuction with Livescribe+, available for download here. Versions of the application are available for Windows, MacOS, iOS and Android, as well as for Amazon Fire tablets.
2) Will the Echo 2 have a 3.5mm jack for headphones?
No.
3) Will the Echo 2 use the same ink cartridges as the original Echo?
The Echo 2 will use the same ink cartridges as the previous Echo, sold here at SmartpenCentral.
4) Will the Echo 2 use the same paper products?
Yes, all Livescribe paper products available here are compatible with the Echo 2.
Note that the recording controls on very old paper may not function, but handwriting is captured.
5) Will the Echo 2 include an integrated microphone and speaker, similar to the previous Echo?
Yes.
